Located in Poltimore, Quebec
about 1 hour North of Ottawa

Our farm has been in the Cheslock family for 100 years as of 2011, we are on 380 acres of beautiful scenic landscape. Perry's Grandparents raised dairy cattle, his grandfather was a blacksmith, his parents also raised dairy cattle, and we now raise beef cattle.

We started with one goat, Mrs. B, to eat grass and weeds in our barnyard. In 2008 we then decided that we wanted some kids, so we got Mr. B. After that we started to buy more dairy goats, and as we learned more, we decided to go with Boer goats, as we were not interested in milking at the time, and the dairy goats were not growing big enough for meat. We sold what we had, and bought Boer and Nubian crosses, some with Kiko. It has been really nice to watch the kids play in the field, and they are so much more interesting and easier to handle than cattle.
